I gotta go with the underdog of the underdogs: Brandon Roy
Only if the Blazers can make it to the playoff and winning the division titles.
This little man is playing exceptionally well right now

I would have to say unfortunatly I think it'll go to James. I don't really like players the hype goes to his head, and I think he's one of those players. I will agree with an earlier post though he's "a freak of nature"

I pick Kobe Bryant as my top choice for MVP. He really plays hard every game. And I am happy that he passes the ball often now than before.

Chris Paul is way too "breakout star" to win the award. I think it will be Kobe. Kobe is averaging 28.3 ppg, 6.1 rbpg, 5.3 apg, while shooting 46% from the field and 84% from the line. He's played through injury and has undoubtedly made his teammates better (much like Steve Nash has always done- but Nash def won't get it this year). He also hasn't missed a single game, while KG has missed something like nine games.

Kobe has worked long and hard for this and he should have gotten it last year over Nowitzki. I seriously can't wait for the playoffs though! I just bought an awesome new 47" Vizio HDTV (This is the one I ended up choosing: Vizio Inc. - Products - VIZIO VO47LF HDTV) and watching basketball is soooo much better now! I also hooked up hd cable and it's so amazing!

Chris Paul is incredible, but he needs a couple more years at least. As for LBJ, he can't boast of making the team better like Kobe and Nash can. That team is nothing without him. Plus Cavs record is not as good... we'll see what happens but I'm guessing it will be Kobe.

Default Hoop Doc MVP Article

Check out the article I wrote for The Hoop Doctors website in early April regarding the MVP race. I probably should have favoured Chris Paul a little more than Lebron in hindsight. Either or, the title is "Why Kobe will win MVP, and why he doesn't deserve it"

Why Kobe will win his first MVP, and why he doesn’t really deserve it… | thehoopdoctors.com

kobe deserves it. I love watching how he's able to change an entire game on his own

Kobe won't win another MVP unless he wins the title. future MVP has got to be LBJ
