Default Best in the West?

At this point of the season, who is the best team in the West?

Dallas Mavericks 10-4 - Started 0-4 and is now 10-4. Their team has really stepped up since the beginning and finally overcoming the Final's hangover.

San Antonio Spurs 11-4 - Still proving that even though they are getting older they're still a team to be feared.

Utah Jazz 12-3 - They've lost 2 of their last 3 but still has the highest win percentage at this point.

Houston Rockets 9-4 - This team is finally healthy, and they've been winning without Bonzi Wells and he's actually playing he's only going to make them better.

L.A. Lakers 9-4 - Who said this team would be only a .500 team at best without Shaq? Anyways, yeah it's still early but they've been playing like they are the best and Kobe isn't averaging 30 points a game, not even 25.

It is still the Dallas Mavericks. They are the team to beat. They have Nowitzki down low and Jason Terry on the outside. A big double threat.

Right now, it's Dallas. Dirk has been struggling because of his vision but the team has been blowing out others. ANd it's not just Terry and Dirk but others like Stackhouse, Harris and Howard had been comfortable with the way their team plays and it shows on the court. The loss of Marquis Daniels and Van Horn, I thought would be felt but if they only give Ager and Croshere a chance since they can play the same way, they are on their way as they were last year.
