Derrick Rose can be a solid 13 points / 7 assists guy for about 10 years...then will just fade away to obscurity.

You know we've seen this before. Derrick Rose is an explosive player, yes. But if he does not have the tools to complete him and complement his talent, he will remain solid, but pretty average.

Yeah, that's fair enough now that I think about.

But Derrick Rose is capable of playing some great games and shouldn't be condemened so easily.
He will either a be a decent, solid point-gaurd for the mediocre Bulls (No offense to Bulls fans) or an explosive, exciting player that will lead the Bulls to new heights (Such as what Chris Paul and Deron Williams did for their respective clubs).
It can go either way.

As a side note, I'm a bit sad that Heinrich will see reduced minutes because of Rose, I like him and he plays well on his night. Oh well.

There is indeed a possibility that Rose do a 'Paul-Williams' take-over. But his chances right now are slim. Chris Paul had Tyson Chandler and all-star David West with him with a solid bench. While D-Will had Booz and AK47.

Rose right now have Larry Hughes and Joakim Noah.

I am also a Hinrich fan. But he is on bit of a decline. Unless he gets shipped to a city that would actually NEED him. A very decent defensive guard and court leader but his role is yet to be defined with Rose' arrival.

His role with Rose's arrival might be getting shipped.
They probably won't need him once Rose finds his feet, which is dissapointing.

Also, on the case of Rose not having the explosive team-mates that the Jazz and the Hornets had when Derron and Paul came along, what ever happened to Ben Gordon?
He's an around 20-ppg shooter whose can score alot higher.

BG is a scorer, just a scorer. Got nothing else to offer. That ain't enough to help D-Rose get to that CP3/DWill level. Plus, as I'm typing this right now, BG still doesn't have a team. The Bulls don't even want to extend him.

Ah, I don't watch Bulls games much but he seemed like a good offensive weapon on his stats sheet...

If they need someone explosive to work with Rose, why not Andres Nocioni?
On the occasions he has played more minutes then usual (Averaged 24.6 last season) he has scored and rebounded damn well.
He could be a good right-hand man for the Bulls if they gave him the chance.

I agree, I think Andres Nocioni is an explosion waiting to happen. He was playing hurt all throughout the Olympics but was still a force. He's probably the only one in the Bulls roster who is not afraid of the KB24's and the LeBron's in the league.

I hope the Bulls don't just trade him away for nothing. Keeping Nocioni could either make or break D-Rose.
