kyle korver can stay outta trouble. JJ has been caught DWI and with pot (got away that..stupid bastard). Hes just your typical stuck up cocky bastard. I dont see how anyway can like him. He doesnt have a lick of athletic ability compared to other nba players. all of those "amazing" shots he hit in college are normal shots in the NBA. He wont be that impressive.

J.J. is just a shooter, he can't create his own shot, he isn't athletic, hes too small to play the 2guard. If J.J. was a point guard he'd have a lot of upside to his game and would prolly be taken with one of the 3 picks. But since he ain't look for him to come off the bench.

there were a few good ones, but im talking about when he would shoot from like 3 feet beyond the 3 point line and the announcers and fans would freak out. Pissed me off. Hes gunna need to do some MAJOR MAJOR improvment to be a 15ppg player in the NBA

I think JJ is going to have a very good year for a rookie. He has the potential to become a very good player in the NBA. He won't be a Kobe or a LeBron, but he could very easily become a 15-20 PPG scorer. Jeff Hornacek comes to mind when I think about what JJ could do in the NBA.

Thank you for regurgitating everything the naysayers on ESPN say about him. He is more athletic than people give him credit for that's for sure and he CAN create his own shot. Did you watch any Duke games this year? He had guys face guarding him for 40 minutes a game and had entire defenses geared towards stopping him and he STILL got to the basket and to the free throw line every game. He's not just a jump shooter, that's just what he does best. (See 'Three Pointers, NCAA Record' for more information) |

Actually J.J. getting open looks isn't going to be the problem. It's just a matter of him expanding his game. He is not a overall good player. Then when his height comes in he is about 6-4 and he is not a good enough sg (for the nba). But with the team J.J. is on he could very well progress. If the magic could get good coaching then they could run a lot of high lows with darko and dwight since darko likes to play on the perimeter anyway. So who knows what would open up for J.J. But overall he just needs to work on his WHOLE!! game.
