athletcism vs shooting

And shooting is important too .. Especially to all the great players of basketball game .. Much great when they can score 3 points eventhough how far he is on the ring he can shoot the ball

okay a good basketball player needs to have both athleticism and shooting ability.

because if they can just shoot and cant run they will be easy to defend. and if there just athletic and cant shoot they cant really do anything but defend.

so really they both have there strengths and weaknesses but it is good to have a player that has both.

but really if i had to pick one i would go with athleticism but they very first choice would to pick a player that has both ability's.

Yeah, but having both abilities means A LOT of working out :P but thats the game

The best thing a prospect can have is smarts and athleticism. Now a days, height means nothing when you have freaks of nature like Nate Robinson and on the tall end, Amare Stoudamire. they aren't the biggest but they do what they have to in order to be dominate. Nate is slowly rising as a big time guard cause he's so explosive offensively. You can teach someone how to shoot, you cant teach them how to be athletic. =DD
