Hamilton, Prince Named Co-Captains With Billups

Detroit Free Press - Pistons small forward Tayshaun Prince and shooting guard Richard Hamilton will join Chauncey Billups as captains of the Pistons this season, the Detroit Free Press is reporting.

Pistons coach Flip Saunders said he and team president Joe Dumars sat down recently to decide who would replace Ben Wallace as Billups' co-captain

I guess this isn't such a bad choice. I personally think Lindsey would be better than tayshaun. But hey, its just captains right?

I thought it should of just been Sheed and Chauncey.

I thought about sheed, but he gets too out of control for me to try to be a leader of a team. He has his time where he likes to pout, get fustrated, etc. I don't think he has the right character to try to lead a team. He doesn't stay focused enough IMO.

^^Exactly. Focus is the man's problem. You can tell me that he's not probably one of the most talented players in the NBA. He's the most talented at that PF position. Yet he only gives you 15 and 8 at best?? He's better than that. If he played harder and controled his emotions, he's a captain.

I like Tay. Rip turns it over alot and just makes dumb boneheaded decisions at times for me. I like Tay's poise and maturity and evetually he's gonna be the star of this team so allow him to get into that leadership mindset early.
