I have not been keeping up with the Pistons this year, I know that they lost Ben Wallace and I would like to know what they are doing to fill those shoes? I mean what you got goin at center?
BTW: You guys may know somthing I dont about Ben, but I cant see how you could let a player like that get away. <_< |

ROFL Dtop... I could imagine Lindsey playing center lmfao.
They Got Nazr(sp?) Mohammud to play center. As far as Ben Wallace goes, he felt they didn't offer him enough money. They offered him 48 mil over 4 years which would have made him the highest paid Piston ever(or something to that effect). Chicago offered him 60 million over 4 years so he left.

In my humble opinion....I feel that Ben's real reason for leaving was his "chemistry", or lack thereof, with coach Flip. You could really see it unraveling after/around All-Star break and I feel that's what ultimately made up his mind. Yeah...I'm sure the extra money didn't hurt his decision either, but I really think Flip's reluctance to put him in the offensive picture more really peeved him off.
I hope Nazr does well this season. He might even be a little more help offensively than Ben was, in the long run.............. |

We may smart this year, but Ben's 5 points a game was getting old. Add to that a center who will lose his physical edge in a couple years (I think he's already losing it).
The only bad part was losing Darko for nothing. I'm predictin he will have a full 1.5 more blocks per game than Ben. |

He can't be worse than Kwame Brown.
