Delfino Wants Out Of Detroit But Club Will Only Let Him Go To Europe

LaNacion.com/HoopsHype.com - Carlos Delfino told LaNacion.com in an exclusive interview that he wants out of Detroit.

"I want to leave Detroit, but they don't let me go," said Delfino.

"I had a pretty good offer from Washington and others from the Lakers and the Nuggets, but Detroit will only let me go to play in Europe. The FC Barcelona interest is true, but I would rather play in Italy", said Delfino.

I dunno a interest of FCB for him...but it wouldn't be a bad signing B)

We dont need him let him go. Just dont release him thats giving him everything he wants and thats not how this business goes, deal for another swingman who gonna come in work hard everynight and whos not afraid to compete for a spot. Delfino wants everything given to him and that aint gonna happen in detroit. I'm sick of his attitude i'm sick of Delfino in whole so deal the whining SOB.

Just let the dude go and take whatever you can get for him. The guy is never going to play here, everybody hates him in the front office and have treated him like dirt.

He deserves better.

No, I'd rather him stay. I just have this confidence in him. I like his game so I want him here, only if he'll play. If they ain't gonna play him, then why keep him? I can understand his frustration. You get 2 years here yet no consistent PT, it's good that it bothers him. I'd rather you get upset over not getting consistent minutes than just sit there, take the money and be satisfied with it.

If we don't play him, I agree with you guys. Get something in return for him.

He whines everytime he gets a little competition, I guess he feels Dupree will take all of his time. Im sick of this kid whining thats all he has seemed to do since he got here. Im all for letting him leave but it better be in a deal when we get something back. I was thinking we trade him for Keith Bogans or something.

Pistons Say Delfino Hasn't Told Them He Wants Out

Grand Rapids Press - The Pistons reportedly are not putting much stock in an interview that Carlos Delfino had with La Nacion. Delfino told the Spanish-language media outlet that he would like out of Detroit but that the club is refusing to trade him away.

"In our face-to-face meetings, he has given us every indication that he wants to play in Detroit, that he doesn't want to be traded, and that he wants to be the best NBA player he can be," John Hammond, Detroit's vice president of basketball operations, said on Monday. "We fully expect him to come in and be a player that will contribute this season."

That's like a afternoon-serial!

Keith Bogans?! Hell no.

He deseres PT, IMO. IDC about his bitching. I like his game better than Dupree and Flip's so I want him here unless we get something in return and it better not be no damn Keith Bogans...

If he dont want to be here let his ass go. You want to know why he wants to leave because hes scared of a little competition last year it was Evans this years its Dupree. Nothing is gonna get handed it you you have to go out and work for it and thats something Delfino doesn't want to do so bring in someone better. Keith Bogans is way better then Delfino and would be great here. Ok I dont know if he'd be great but I'd give him a chance anthing to get rid of Delbitcho.
