Best part in the whole article

"Ben Wallace, going on 32, is not the same player he was at 29. His rebounds and blocks have gone down every year since 2003. This past spring, Wallace put up the following numbers in 18 playoff games: 4.7 points, 10.5 rebounds, 1.22 blocks.

For that, the Bulls are paying $15 million a year.

Is Ben a better player than he showed in the playoffs? Probably. But he is a horrible shooter from the field. And from the free-throw line, well, I don't know what's worse than horrible. Horribysmal, maybe. Horrible squared."

Yea with all the offensive rule changes I don't think we could have kept up with Ben Wallace. We don't have enough Scorers..but then again I don't think Chicago does either. Ben would be great on a team with a superstar like the Lakers, Rockets, Cavs and so on...it will be interesting to see if this motivates him to get an offensive game this summer to prove everybody wrong. I don't think he has it in him though. Tha bad part about it for the Pistons is that Nazr doesn't have that kind of offensive game we'd like to have either. But then again...we didn't pay him 15 million dollars either.

Ya but Nazr can be an improvement offensively if A) He can hit his FT'S and B) When he gets the ball under the basket he doesnt pump fake 10 times and look like a lost little boy at Fairlane Mall.

Yeah one thing I do like about this is that Nazr brings much more on the offensive end but I want to know can he keep up with sheed, Dice, Tay and all of them on the Defensive end. We're still in the east and we're still going to be in some tough grind out games especially when we're struggling on offense so Nazr is going to have to step his defense up just a little bit.

Michael Rosenberg is a retard.

The NBA is evolving offensively and Ben Wallace isn't a good offensive player - Gee, thanks for the insightful article. It was so clever and creative, so much new information, and I'm so glad I read it. It was full of little-known fun facts such as Ben Wallace's numbers going down since 2003 and Nazr Mohammed being several years younger. I hope the Freep is paying him tons.

Chris McCosky could have done better than that. At some point in time one of these local newspapers is going to have to make an interesting sports section targetted towards sports fans instead of a continuous broken record of boring shit that's been talked about for 2 weeks targetted towards senior citizens to inform them of the happenings in the NBA. I'm just glad I didn't waste my 35 cents.
