^^Ofcourse it's not the same. Ben is irreplaceable, as irreplaceable as his horrible FT shooting. I don't think it's as bad as it seems because of the direction this "new" NBA is going. I would've liked for us to get a scoring big man who can play D but anybody is better than what Ben gave us on O atleast.

I hate this move. Like alot. This is a desperate signing and a bad contract. Darko is laughing his ass off somewhere.

I'm not gonna lie I did want Przybella a little bit more but I dont think this move is so bad. Nazr is a great defender, he blocks shots and rebounds. Hes not the best offensive but I like the deal, he was the 2nd best thing availible.

I agree except I actually like Nazr better than Pryzbilla. He seems more fundamentally sound than Pryzbilla from what I've watched and he's better offensively. Pryzbilla comes off to me as solely a shotblocker but Nazr can block shots but defend in other ways as well. And we can ACTUALLY rely on Nazr's offense if need be. I do think this is a desperate signing but hey, desperate times call for desperate measures. I think he was the best thing out there. I really can't wait for the season to start now just to see what the team's gonna look like.

This is simply a replacement of BWallace, and he's all the Pistons could find. But he might do them some good with his slight rebounding abilities. He might even improve blocking.

I know this is pointless, but I want Darko back. He's going to blow up playing with Howard, Redick and Nelson to keep the defense honest.

^^I've always had confidence in him but I agreed with Joe D's move. Too much history, bad history for him to succeed here. Maybe having another stint after he establishes himself might work, but not now. He'll do good in Orlando with all those great players there. There won't be any pressure on him and he'll do fine. Especially on the defensive end. I'm looking forward to seeing him play.

Well not too many people are going to bring the D like ben, but I still like this pickup better than having ben. We would lose games last year just off of ben's missed freethrows. Nazr shoots about 70% from the line, avg like 10 pts and gets like 6 boards. Ben's stats continue to go down every year becuase of his aging. As he gets older he can't do all of that jumping around etc. That's why IMO that signing of Chicago for SOOOO much money will backfire. Becuase in about the 2nd year and a half ben will be nothing. And he understands that. That's why he went for the $$$$.
