This year hes a free agent and I remember last year the pistons showing interest but he was traded to sacramento so do you think we should pick him up now? I think we should, we could use the scoring off the bench and hes someone that we can count on to make an impact during the playoffs, something we couldn't do this year with Delfino and Evans. I know some of you wont like the idea of bring him here with Sheed but I say what the hell try it, Rasheed is a new person and so is Bonzi.

I don't think we have the money for Bonzi, and also I think he's earned a starting role somewhere. However, if Detroit could somehow get him it would be HUGE.

there are plenty of places for Bonzi to go and have a chance at ring and get paid

teams like the mavs, and spurs have an advantage because of taxes in texas

big citys like LA, Miami will always have a chance

the bulls are gonna have tons of cap this offseason, the 2nd pick and tons of young talent, the cavs are on the way up

and what player wouldnt want to play with the uptempo suns? who have been to the western conf finals 2 str8 seasons.... and the kings can pay him more then other team and they finished the season playing very good basketball as well

the pistons should be in the running if they make an offer but ben wallace is a fa, billups will want an extension, prince's extension kicks in so this should be intersting offseason for the pistons.... to see rurther they wanna add a couple pieces to their core and maybe have to go over the luxary tax or start rebuilding, retooling and reloading their roster.

Thats why Arroyo and Darko was traded to make room for stuff like this. I think I recall Dumars saying we had enough to resign Ben, give Chauncey a new contract and still pick up some needs in off season. I say we trade Evans or Delfino, one of them have to go and Delk may have to go too depends on what he wants. I still think Dale is overpaid so if we could trade him some way which is unlikely that we will I would hope we would.

No, that was just speculation. Delfino just said that he hadn't talked to Joe about a trade and that he wanted to stay in Detroit.

With the way he played in the S.A. series, there's no way Sacramento will let him walk here. They can pay him boatloads more than we can.

I would be very surprised if Bonzi didn't go back to Sac. His career is back on track after getting buried on the Grizzlies depth chart.

Isn't he kinda injury prone? I know he was out a lot this past year with a hamstring problem. Most of us know about Boozer and his hamstring tears.

^^ If he does get injured during the season we would still have Evans or Delfino. As long as hes healthy and ready during the post season I say get him.

We have the space and with trading Evans and Delfino that will make more space. We dropped alot off in the Milicic Arroyo trade and even before that went down we had enough cash to resign Ben so I dont think money is the problem. It kind of strange how Shaq is getting paid $30million a year and Miami still seem to have enough to pay off all the contracts they have.

And with Shaq's money and then Wade this summer or next how they gonna lure free agents and not disrespect them with the money they offer them?

Well Joe has openly said that he is interested in Bonzi and would like to bring him here. He has also stated that he talked to Delfino right before he boarded a plane to go back to Argentina. He said he and Carlos talked for a long time about him staying here and getting more playing time. He said that Carlos stated that he wanted to be here and wanted more time on the floor so I think Joe is gonna be pushing that issue with Flip. Thatd be nice with Delfino AND Bonzi comin off the bench.
