Denver's season opener against the Los Angeles Clippers was one of the closest season openers this year in terms of scoring. We might've lost to the Clippers by 1, 96-95, but it was a good fight. Marcus Camby, when he's healthy, can really alter the whole game for us. He had 16 points, 18 rebounds, & 4 blocked shots. Personally, I think that Camby's defensive presence down low's just as important as Carmelo's leadership & scoring, if not better. Melo kinda struggled in the game though with 15 points on 6-13 shooting, but J.R. Smith picked up the slack with 21 points. I've gotta give it up to Sam "I Am" Cassell though because of his 35 point effort to go along with 6 rebounds & 6 assists. I still feel like Denver has been a stronger team now & they'll definitely win 45+ games to prove that they're still a great team even though they're in a weak division called the Northwest.

It was BS how Melo got ejected, would of been nice to see him end the game.

All of this is BS. There's been like 10 techs already. These "rules" are ridiculous IDK how many times I can say it.

Hopefully Camby can stay healthy for once. I didn't see the game but how does Denver look shooting wise? I know ever since they lost Lenard to that injury a while back they've been looking for AT LEAST one shooter. The stats sound nice but I'm curious about where these points were made on the floor. Were they mostly mid range, a lot to the basket, what? How does this team look from the perimeter?

No surpise. There's basically nothing we can do about David Stern. I've said it in the past and I'll say it again. The only way Stern will be out is if the owners start to not agree with him. The only owner (so far) that I know dislikes Stern is Cuban and he makes it known. Either the other owners don't like him and don't say anything or they don't have a problem with it. Why? Because he's bringing in money. He's getting rid of that "thuggish" environment and TRYING to interest ppl. When really he's not making any TRUE basketball fans happy at all. What makes it even worse is a lot of these owners aren't really young minded so you have a bunch of old minds running this league. We see how Stern is.. he's a younger guy that's more like a fan. Most of the other owners in the league you don't even see them during the game. In other words, we need to get some people that TRULY care about BASKETBALL and not just $ to start running this league. Or else this league is down the drain for many many years to come.
