I would like to be the first to say that Melo will most likely go to the All-Star Game this year. I think he should have made it last year too, to be perfectly honest. 26.5 PPG, the Baltimore Beast. Hes underrated compared to Wader and LeBron, but if you think about it, if Wade got ONE less bad call every game, he would average LESS points per game than Melo.

As much as I love Carmelo & I really think that he should've been in the All-Star game last year & he deserves to this year, he needs to contribute more across the board than just scoring. If he could beef up his rebounding average to about 6-7 boards a game & average about 4-5 apg, he'd easily make the All-Star team. He has shown signs of great leadership throughout the FIBA World Championships & if he can do the same thing with Denver (which will be easier because now he has a full-time starter in J.R. Smith), the sky's the limit for him & many people will come to respect him more.
