I'm not lying. Earl "the Squirrel" Boykins got traded to Milwaukee along with Julius Hodge & cash money in exchange for Steve Blake. This can't be happening. Why would Denver give up possibly one of the top candidates for Sixth Man of the Year Award? He has been averaging 15 points & 4 assists off the bench, but I guess because of AI logging in big minutes & J.R. Smith coming back from his 10-game suspension from the Madison Square Garden brawl, he won't be getting as many touches or minutes under the Nuggets' rotation. The bad thing about it's that Milwaukee obviously got the better end of the deal now that they've got an offensive juggernaut who'll do damage while Michael Redd & Mo Williams are out. What's Steve Blake going to do for us anyway? Nothing.

Also, with the huge contracts Denver now has with Allen Iverson, Carmelo Anthony, Marcus Camby, Kenyon Martin, & Nene, it'll relieve them some pressure from luxury tax. I still think that it was a sucka's trade & Milwaukee obviously got the better end of the deal. Imagine Earl Boykins with Mo Williams & Michael Redd (when they come back), not to mention Charlie Villanueva, Andrew Bogut, & Ruben Patterson? They're going to be a high-octaned offensive team. Besides, how's Steve Blake going to help us out? He's garbage & so inconsistent. Some nights, he'll give you 2-3 three-pointers. The next night, he won't even put up at least 5 points. Now who's going to be Denver's offensive threat off the bench? |

Personally, if I wanted to get rid of anyone before lil Earl, it'd definitely be Kenyon Martin. The guy always goes down with his knee injuries, including this season ending knee injury which K-Mart claims it came out of nowhere. Last season, he only played in 56 games because of his whack knees. I know that no one's ever going to pick him up because of his crazy retarded contract, but we've got to dump this guy & get a better low-post scoring PF. When he was a Net, he'd give you around 19 & 9 a game. Ever since he came to Denver back in 2004-2005, his best season averages were 16.7 ppg & 7.3 rpg. Guys like KG & the Big Fundamental would think it'd be their career low averages, so that's pretty sad considering K-Mart's supposed to be a beast at the 4 slot.

what happened?the iverson and boykins show is already in full gear in mile high city and they decide to break it up?clearly, as you guys said, this is a financial move to clear up cap room for the massive contracts of nene, k-mart, camby, iverson and melo. steve blake's a guy who could get those guys the ball. i hope the nuggets know what they're doing.
