Could Dirk POSSIBLY Stay MVP Material?

MJ's career was very strange. Why did he go off and play pro baseball? Wasn't basketball good enough for him?

his wife was betting on his games. rather than have a pete rose incident as in baseball, the league chose to quietly suspend mj for roughly two years. wanting to play baseball was just the preferred cover story.

It is good to have a team effort though instead of just one person.

Dirk can't do it by himself of course he needs the help of the team..... But for me Dirk is the best... Maybe this year NBA... he will be mvp again.

Dirk will remain solid for year to come. Now that Dallas has Marion, who is a slasher, Kidd can finally show what he is capable of. But i do agree that the supporting cast needs to step up and do something.

I agree, with Shawn helping out Dirk this year, they will surely have a better chance at making it in the Western Conference. However, the mavs being a championship caliber team is still to be decided this season. And they have 82 games to decide that, i hope they make it at least past the first round.

I think Dirk is an excellent player but im not sure he is superstar who can carry a team. As we found in the past. I think dallas needs a dominant center if you have a PF like dirk who just shoots and shoots. It kinda reminds me of the magic and rashard lewis. They have dwight howard down low and just give him the ball till he gets doubled team and pass it out and light you up from 3. Thats what i think dallas need to do with a dirk cause i think he is just like rashard lewis except more of a ball hog.
