Howard Prepares For Possible Final Season In Dallas

Star-Telegram - Josh Howard and the Mavs have until October 31st to finalize a contract extension, but it appear unlikely that one will be signed.

"I don't get the whole market thing," Howard said last week. "I've never experienced that. I don't understand it, but if they feel it's not the right time, I'll have one more great year here."

"We're getting close to the deadline and we're still talking, but we're not there yet," Howard's agent, Jeff Schwartz, said.

Yeah, their playing with FIRE, Josh is one of the good guys in the NBA and he deserves the money. The Mavs gave Marquis Daniels almost 30 Million last year and he wasn't even drafted. ;)
