Will the Mavs ever get a BAD- A$$ in the paint?

I was hopeing that in the off-season the Mavericks would wake up and smell the Coffee. The one thing that is missing on this Mavs team is a low post player with a little bit of a MEAN-STREAK in them, or what I like to call it "a winniong attitude"

The Mavs played a team last year in the Finals (the Heat) that had two bad-a$$ players in the paint ( ZO and Shaq ) to our NONE. and every time we would try to go inside to the hoop, they would make us pay. ask Harris, and Dirk.

The NBA is not a finesse game any more, It is very physical and demanding game, no place for a WIMP. The Mavs have had a perception of being a team of soft white boys in the past, and I think Avery is doing a lot to change that, but I cant help to think that every one in the organization has not caught on to the idea that the Mavs have got to get TUFFER.

The Mavs have had a chance in the last couple of year to get players like Rasheve Wallace, Ron Artest, K-Mart and Bonzi Wells ect. and ever one of these players, have a winning attitude. But the Mavs some how, some way managed to drop the ball, let them slip through our fingers, or had no interest in the player at all, and I dont understand why.

Dont get me wrong, I love the Mavericks and I think that they are one of the top teams in the NBA, But when it comes right down to NUT CUTTING, like in the Finals, I just want to see us get a little MEAN.
