Kings Trade:
Theo Ratliff 2009 First Round Pick (via Cavaliers) Sonics Trade: Danny Fortson Johan Petro Rafael Araujo 2009 First Round Draft Pick (via Sonics) Before the trade Kings cut Darius Hargrove. Kings accept. Ratliff was going to be gone after this deal and I wasn't going to re-sign him nor would I have a legit replacement and now with Petro I will. He's young and has potential and now he's already a good defender and average rebounder. Fortson and Araujo about equals Ratliffs expiring with expirings of their own. Can't beat that.

I accept. We need a Defensive Minded Center and we got one in Ratliff. I had the best record in the league last year so I think Im just missing a few pieces to put me over the top. I expect to make a run at it all this year. If not Theo is expiring anyway. I had no plans for Arajao Fortson or Petro. I plan on using Theo to cover for letting Saer Sene develop one more year then unleashing his BEAST rebounding skills on the league!
