Do you think that LeBron is going to re-sign with Cleveland once his contract is up? Or do you think he'll leave for a big-market team like the Lakers, Bulls, or Knicks? It was reported that LeBron's deal with Nike would double if he signed with one of the previously mentioned teams. That rumor was shot down, but it still is possible that LeBron might want a change of scenery.
If LeBron leaves, the Cavs organization will be in shambles. |

I think he'll stay too. The Cavs have been accomodating him by surrounding him with better players every year. I'm sure he senses the commitment they have in providing a competitive team and have a shot for the championship.

I think he stays. He comes out of this looking like a hero for picking his hometown over money, he?ll make the money up in a slick marketing campaign. That is if Cleveland keeps petting together a team who can win. No way that guys stick around on a dog team. |

They really can't give him all that much. Just max at a small time deal for a soon to be 5th year player I believe. Same as Melo and Wade will get. Endorements and outside contracts is the key. And Lebron has already said he wants to be the richest man in the world..I think hes a bit greedy so we'll see.

Not greedy? Hmm... let's see...
2006 NBA All-Star Game in Houston: LeBron takes a lot of shots by himself, drives to the paint by himself, and dunks very little, which is what he's big for. Result: All-Star MVP. Think about how much publicity he got for that. Every game: He may seem like an unselfish player by sending the ball around and passing it, then getting rebounds or blocks or steals, adding onto his already-high amount of points. Result: double-doubles, triple-doubles, even quadruple-doubles. Publicity skyrockets because LeBron is "the chosen one". He puts up big numbers nearly every night by scoring, stealing, passing, etc. In my opinion, I believe he passes it around a lot so that he'll at least get that double-double. Yeah, he's a team player, don't get me wrong, he's awesome, and those passes have been game-winners, occasionally. But if I was him, and I was a cocky asshole, I'd be passing it and putting up big numbers because I would be receiving a check everytime someone even thought about my name. Greedy? Yes.

I do think he will stay in Cleveland but can you imagine the up roar in the streets if he went to NY or LA? The Cle. boards would be blowing up with anger. They would have to live in a cave for years to come.
