I hear talk about Chicago winning the central. I dont really know if they can do that. I mean, a team needs chemistry to make it far, and I couldn't see that happening in just the off season.

I don't think they will show big improvement during the season, but I can see them going to the Eastern finals

They won't win the Central or go to the ECF. I don't know what is wrong with people but damn Chicago still can't beat Detroit or Miami especially without HCA. Just watch come playoff time when they get in a series with the big teams they won't win, I'm not even sure if they can beat Cleveland in a series.

Personally, if they want to go deeper in the NBA playoffs, they need to acquire an All-Star SG who'll easily fill it up in the offensive end. They've got a lot of key pieces to trade away for him. They can give up Luol Deng, P.J. Brown, & Chris Duhon for some decent sharpshooter, but I doubt that they'd ever do that. Chicago was always a great defensive team to begin with, but acquiring Big Ben Wallace (even though he's not really worth all that money they gave him) will definitely increase their defense more in the paint. Kirk Hinrich & Ben Gordon also have to have a good season in order for Chicago to contend. Andres Nocioni just has to keep up with the physical style of play & his three-point shot. Tyrus Thomas will probably not get a lot of playing time this year, but he'll be another key player in the future after Ben Wallace & P.J. Brown retires.

I wasn't proposing any trade. I only used those guys as examples of how the Bulls have a very deep bench.

You said they can give up Deng and others for a scoring machine, exactly what Sam Smith suggested

I don't think the Bulls have improved much at all. I was a fan of Ben Wallace, I think his play this year hasn't helped his team at all.

I do not think they will go the Play offs. They will probably show improvement in the next few years.
