ATLANTA, GA (Sept. 29, 2006) -- The Atlanta Hawks have signed free agents Cedric Bozeman, Andre Brown, Lionel Chalmers, Kaniel Dickens, Matt Freije and Andreas Glyniadakis to the training camp roster, according to Executive Vice President/General Manager Billy Knight.

Bozeman (6-6, 207) helped lead UCLA to the NCAA Championship game last season capping off a solid five-year career (redshirted in 2004-05) with the Bruins. He played with the Hawks summer league squad at the Rocky Mountain Revue in July, averaging 7.7 ppg, 1.5 apg and 1.0 spg (.436 FG%, .444 3FG%, .800 FT%), starting all six contests.

Brown (6-9, 245) most recently played in the Rocky Mountain Revue for the San Antonio Spurs, and averaged 11.6 ppg and 5.4 rpg (.641 FG%, .500 FT%) in five starts. The former DePaul star played last season with the
Daegu Orions in South Korea.

Chalmers (6-0, 180), a former second round pick (33rd overall) of the L.A. Clippers in 2004, spent training camp and preseason with Minnesota in 2005. He played in 36 regular season contests with L.A. in 2004-05, and tallied 3.1 ppg and 1.4 apg (.336 FG%, .750 FT%). He logged time last season with Tau Ceramica in Spain. Chalmers averaged 12.7 ppg in his four-year collegiate career at Xavier.

Dickens (6-8, 215) has played with Portland (three games in 2003-04) and New Jersey (11 games in 2004-05), and spent time last season with Fayetteville of the NBA Development League. He was drafted by Utah 50th overall in 2000, and his playing career has also taken him to Russia, China and Spain. Dickens finished his college career at Idaho.

Freije (6-10, 240) was originally drafted by Miami (53rd overall) in 2004, and appeared in 23 games (11 starts) with the New Orleans Hornets that season. He posted 4.0 ppg and 2.7 rpg. Last season, Freije spent time with the Idaho Stampede (then of the Continental Basketball Association), as well as with Olympiacos in Greece. He finished his college career as Vanderbilt?s all-time leading scorer (1,891).

Glyniadakis (7-1, 280) split time last season between Roanoke and Albuquerque of the NBA Development League, and averaged 10.5 ppg, 4.8 rpg and 1.3 bpg (.535 FG%, .816 FT%) in 39 games (22 starts). The former Pistons draft pick (58th overall in 2003) played in training camp and preseason with Detroit in 2005. He played in Greece from 1998-2005.
