Hawks Sign Lorenzen Wright

Atlanta Journal Constitution - The Atlanta Hawks have reached an agreement with free agent center Lorenzen Wright on a two-year contract worth an estimated $6 million, according to a source familiar with the situation.

Wright, a 6-11, 250-pound 10-year veteran, played the past five seasons in Memphis and averaged 5.8 points and 5.1 rebounds while playing just 21.7 minutes per game

Good pickup for them I think Wright is really underrated and this is exactly what they needed a big man. Claxton/Johnson/Williams/Williams/Wright dont look too bad to me.

Thats a good signing... Wright and Pachulia will help each other...and Zaza improved last year

Very good signing, especially for the money. He's not an all star but he can contribute to a growing team.

I don't think they can make it in a year also. But that depends on how the other teams perform in the offseason also.

I'm guessing he'll start at C, and Pachulia will be at PF. Not sure though. But either way, this is a great addition since the Hawks have lacked a decent C for quite a while now
