Claxton signs with Hawks

Good move for the Hawks even though I feel they overpaid him a little bit but they're not going to get no one else minds well spend it.

I don't think they overpaid at all, he's a stud..people set his market value to low...he's more then worth this.

Great move for the Hawks though, they got the PG they sorely needed.

Ok last night I pulled a all nighter and didnt sleep to 11:30 and had to wake up at 2:30 so im not all here today. Im think it was a 3yr $24m contract but now I see the 4yrs and I realize hes making 6million a yr not 8. I think they paid just right for him anything over $6million though is overpaying him IMO. But whats interesting is atlanta has 4 pg's on their roster as of right now Lue, Royal, Stoudamire, and Claxton. Should they look to move one of them???

I wonder if there was a way Joe D to snap Tyrone Lue from them without giving up anything we need.

I'm curious on how the hawks are going to rotate claxton. I dont really think that he is a starting point. I think he plays better off the bench just because the type of up and down player he is.

It should be interesting to see though.

I was really hoping Speedy would go to the Pistons. He's a good PG.

He and Joe Johnson will team up and make a lethal backcourt. And since the guys aren't significantly old, they could probably lead this team into the playoffs after a year or 2.
