Chris Paul is way too "breakout star" to win the award. I think it will be Kobe. Kobe is averaging 28.3 ppg, 6.1 rbpg, 5.3 apg, while shooting 46% from the field and 84% from the line. He's played through injury and has undoubtedly made his teammates better (much like Steve Nash has always done- but Nash def won't get it this year). He also hasn't missed a single game, while KG has missed something like nine games.
Kobe has worked long and hard for this and he should have gotten it last year over Nowitzki. I seriously can't wait for the playoffs though! I just bought an awesome new 47" Vizio HDTV (This is the one I ended up choosing:
Vizio Inc. - Products - VIZIO VO47LF HDTV) and watching basketball is soooo much better now! I also hooked up hd cable and it's so amazing!
Chris Paul is incredible, but he needs a couple more years at least. As for LBJ, he can't boast of making the team better like Kobe and Nash can. That team is nothing without him. Plus Cavs record is not as good... we'll see what happens but I'm guessing it will be Kobe.
