Yeah I kinda agree with you,
since a lot of those guys (Delfino, Humphries etc.) get random minutes they do not get into the groove of the game or the team as much as other bench players do on other teams. One night Delfino might be playing for 25 minutes the other he might get 10 minutes maximum. Same goes for other bench players that are potentially big talents. I think that Mitchell has to narrow that bench down by the time that playoffs come in order for the team to work as a more cohesive unit, if he keeps alternating the entire bench they will not get far in the playoffs or get better for next year. In order for them to become a championship contender they definitely need to choose the main players which are coming off the bench instead of constantly alternating between everyone. Personally I think if they Sam uses Nesterovic (for size and toughness against the other centers), TJ Ford (fast break points and more scoring than Calderon) and Kapono or Delfino (to spread the defense with their shooting/cutting/driving and to provide extra defense) regularly throughout the rest of the season these guys will understand what they need to bring everytime they come into the game and they will get used to the rotation. They will know what their roles are night in and out because they are getting rotated into the court on a constant basis and the starters can get used to playing with them. On the other hand if he keeps playing every single player thats currently on the bench the Raps will only remain at the same level of play as they are now and will slowly lose their race to becoming a championship contender.

Hope that made sense
