Hi everyone.

I have GREAT news for you.

We are in the process of preparing to convert HoopsTalk to vBulletin. The site is currently running on Invision PowerBoard which has FAR less features and additions than vB.

Once we are converted you will find the site is much easier to use and just plain more user friendly.

We have already converted the HoopsTalk skin to work on vbulletin ( http://www.hoopstalk.net/vb )

So within the next few days we will begin actually importing the posts and your user accounts.

THERE IS ONE CATCH!!
vBulletin uses a completely different password encryption type than Invision so there is no way to import your passwords. This is actually reassuring for you because it let's you know that even I with full root server level access to the database don't know and can't read your password because it's encrypted.

But the bad news is once we convert I will send out an email to ALL users letting you know you need to reset your password.

BUT IT'S REALLY SIMPLE. 2 Clicks and enter a new password (or you can just put in your old one). That's it.

I'm planning to do a test import tonight and if it goes well I may either do the final one tonight or tomorrow night.
