Press Release - Joining Allen Iverson and Chris Webber on the Sixers' roster this season are veterans Samuel Dalembert, Alan Henderson, Willie Green, Steven Hunter, Andre Iguodala, Kyle Korver, Kevin Ollie, Shavlik Randolph, and Louis Williams. Making their Sixers debuts this year will be Rodney Carney and Bobby Jones, whom the Sixers acquired in the 2006 NBA draft, and off-season acquisitions Rick Brunson, Steven Smith and Ivan McFarlin. The Sixers roster is rounded out with 16 players.
Philadelphia will open its preseason schedule in Europe on Thursday, Oct. 5, against Winterthur FC Barcelona at 9:00 p.m. The Sixers first preseason contest at home will be on Saturday, Oct. 14, against the New York Knicks at the Wachovia Center with a 7 p.m. tip-off.
