There has been a chainging of the guard in Big D, this is not your Daddys Mavs, Avery Johnson is the new Head Coach and Nellie is off to Golden State. With more talent than ever before, the Mavs will be hard to beat. of course there will be some top notch competitors in the west, like the Spurs, Suns, ect. and all of them has added more talented players to their line up, but I think the Mavs did not go into the off-season licking their wounds and whining about the bad calls in the Finals, NOPE they got right back in the saddle and made some trades that will improve their roster of players and also found some pretty good looking rookies as well. In my mind I think that the Mavs have one of the deepest benches in the NBA. I know that there are no guarantees and anything can happen in in the NBA, but as long as the Mavs have AJ and the Dirknator, I have to say WILL BE BACK.

Excellent point Dogs, your very astute and informative observations of one of the top contenders in the west is right-on. It is to early to tell which teams will be considered to be the Power-House out of their divisions, but from my humble and unbiased opinion I think that it will come right down to the Pistions and the Mavs in the finals.

B) ;) :P
I was just kidding guys, but it sounds good to me.
